According to Bob Snodgrass of Brumos, ten years of restoration went
into
this transport, which is believed to be the only one remaining of the
original
three. One was destroyed or is missing. A second has been found, but is
apparently beyond repair. So this is it. Brumos purchased it just in
the
last year or two from the entity which had it restored. Although the
restoration
is beautiful, they thoughtfully left some "character" - such as
cigarette
burns in the floorboard of the driver's cab. The truck was apparently
custom-designed
by Porsche AG on to a standard truck chassis of the day.
