At the 2003 running of LeMans, the ACO officials award Norbert Singer their Spirit of LeMans. The following photos are thanks to the French publication "Virages" www.virages.fr.st. Please also see Michael Cotton's Tribute to Singer printed in 911 & Porsche World Magazine, which Tribute is at this link (a scanned article, with perhaps some errors in the computer translation).

This appears to be the Racer's Group pit/garage. They had just won the Rolex 24 overall this year with Porsche GT3s.
Singer with Paul Frere, "top-flight engineer, journalist and former
racing
driver, enjoying an especially close and long relationship with the
Porsche
company, and has driven virtually every 911 variant" and author of the
excellent "Porsche 911 Story" (Haynes Publishing)
In accepting the "Spirit of LeMans" award, Singer
says he thanked "the Le Mans people, specially to Mr. Michel Cosson the
President of the ACO and the
selection commitee under the control of Mr. Daniel Poissenot and last
but not least to Porsche, which gave me the opportunity to give me the
chance to come so often to Le Mans with all kinds of cars. My thanks
went
also to the Porsche racing team, which made these successes possible."
